Ozone Business Consulting provides the chemical and related industries in Southern Africa with independent industrial market research and strategy formulation. Other projects include energy efficiency and demand side management studies, skills needs studies, waste stream analyses, and other industrial market research. Links with international research organizations can also provide information outside of Southern Africa, where required.

The primary strength of Ozone lies in the continuous development of an up-to-date database on the manufacturing, distribution, consumption, and trade of chemicals throughout the 11 sub-sectors of the chemical industry in Southern Africa, as classified by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic). The development of this database started in 1986 at Chemical Marketing & Consulting Services (CMCS), from which Ozone was formed in 2003.

Process efficiency improvement is important for sustainable development in all manufacturing sectors. Ozone has developed a database through energy analysis and quantification surveys across all manufacturing sectors in South Africa.

Ozone offers a tailor-made service that involves the gathering and interpretation of market data, as well as workshop sessions and reviews with clients. Confidential single-client studies and/or multi-client industry projects are done. The aim is to optimize the client's marketing efforts, thereby maximizing return on investment.
